Per Laursen is among the players with most routine in the PDC Nordic & Baltic, with eight participations at the World Championship and nine participations at the World Cup of Darts.

Per Laursen has participated in no less than eight World Championships. Three times he has reached the round of 32, and the most famous time was when he beat Terry Jenkins, who made a nine darter in the match and still lost 3-2 in sets to the Dane.

Per Laursen is one of the few who has participated in every single of the nine World Cups.

In the PDC Nordic & Baltic, Per Laursen has also been quite successful. In 2013 he won a Pro Tour event in Denmark and one in Finland. At the end of that season, he ended as number one on the SDC Ranking.

In 2014 he won yet another Pro Tour in Denmark, and in 2015 he won both Pro Tours in Sweden.

In 2016 he won his sixth Pro Tour, as he won one event in Finland.

Per Laursen has also qualified for both Danish Darts Open tournaments. In 2019 he lost against Jonny Clayton after a missed match dart. The match will forever be remembered for the intense atmosphere from the Danish crowd.
