Valters Melderis became the only second Latvian to win a Nordic and Baltic Pro Tour title after Madars Razma in 2025.

For many years Madars Razma was the only really successful player from Latvia on the Nordic and Baltic Pro Tour.

In recent years however Valters Melderis has proven to be up among the best from the Baltic country, with no less than two participations at the World Cup of Darts alongside Madars Razma.

In 2025 he even managed to win his first ever Nordic and Baltic Pro Tour title, as he won the third event of the season in Gothenburg.
