Michael van Gerwen won Dutch Darts Masters again

For the fifth time in a row, Michael van Gerwen won Dutch Darts Masters.

Michael van Gerwen is almost untouchable at the time. This evening he won his fourth title on the Europa Tour. His fifth win in a row at the Dutch Darts Masters.

Many thought Daryl Gurney would be the stop for MvG in the semifinal. Gurney was ahead with 6-2. But as always the Dutchman found that extra gear that no one else has and suddenly he had won 7-6. Thus he was ready for the final against Irish Steve Lennon, who had beat Kim Huybrecths with 7-5 in the second semifinal.

Michael van Gerwen continued the same supreme style in the final. He was ahead of 5-1 after the first six legs, after which Steve Lennon began to hit the doubles. Steve Lennon never came closer than 7-5, even though MvG was not playing well.

Nevertheless, Michael van Gerwen won.
