Another Pro Tour weekend will be held this weekend. As always there will be two Pro Tour events, but this time there will only be one qualification for the European Tour. This qualification will be for the first European Tour in the 2020 season.
These three tournaments will be held at Saturday and Sunday. But already today, we will see another qualification, as the qualification for the PDC Youth Darts Championship will be held.
12 players have registered for the tournament, and one of them is Hampus Norström who also qualified last year. Nicolai Ramussen, who was the second qualifier last year, will not be participating today, so it is for sure, that we will se at least one new player from the PDC Nordic & Baltic region at the PDC Youth World Darts Championship.
At Saturday the Pro Tour 7 will be held and Pro Tour 8 will be held at Sunday. Darius Labanauskas and Madars Razma, who both will be participating this weekend, has made themself a quite big lead, but nothing is settled just yet at the rankings.
But of course they are favourites for the two places at the World Darts Championship at Ally Pally. The interesting thing in this case, is that Darius Labanauskas at the moment is number 52 at the PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit, which will send him to the Ally Pally, meaning that the third place at the PDCNB rankings can potentially be worth an Ally Pally ticket.
At the moment Marko Kantele and Dennis Nilsson fights for this place at the rankings, but also Ulf Ceder, Oskar Lukasiak and Daniel Larsson can involve themself in this fight with some good results this weekend, so everything is still wide open, when it comes to the World Darts Championship.
At Saturday the qualification for the European Tour will be held. 16 players have registered for this event. Among the names we find Ivan Springborg, Niels Heinsøe, Niels-Jørgen Hansen, Pauli Finnila, Atli Bjarnason and Dennis Nilsson, who all have participated at the Challenge Tour this year. Prominent names such as Per Laursen, Daniel Larsson and Roland Lenngren will also fight for the place in Europe.
