For the first time ever, the Nordic and Baltic Pro Tour will visit Estonia as a new host nation in the PDC Nordic & Baltic.
For many years, the PDC Nordic & Baltic Tour has been hosted in countries such as Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Latvia.
In recent years, nations like Iceland and Norway have found their way into the fold, and now the PDC Nordic & Baltic can proudly announce Estonia as a new addition to the tour.
With the tour also having visited Lithuania in 2018, the Nordic & Baltic Pro Tour will now complete the full circle across the Baltic countries.
“It is with great pleasure that we welcome Estonia as a host country for PDC Nordic & Baltic. Following a rising number of Estonian players competing in our Pro Tours across the Nordic and Baltic countries, and following an approach from Estonia itself, we have decided that our final Pro Tour tournaments of 2026 will be held in Estonia,” says PDC Nordic & Baltic chairman Michael Frydendahl.
“We of course believe and hope that this will be a great success. At the same time, we hope that as many players as possible from all our other countries in the region will help give our Estonian hosts a warm welcome to the Pro Tour. Our goal is, of course, to travel as much around the entire region as possible year after year, making it extra special to welcome a new host nation.”
“Please give Estonia a warm welcome, as we know they have done – and will continue to do – a tremendous amount of work to make this a fantastic experience. Thank you to Villu Tiitus, our new representative in Estonia, and the rest of the Estonian team for committing 100 percent to PDC Nordic & Baltic.”
The new host nation is a result of a corporation between the PDC Nordic & Baltic and the Estonian Darts Organization with chairman Villu Tiitus.
“I have thought about getting the Nordic and Baltic Tour here for a couple of years, but really started asking and dealing with this about a year ago, and at about the same time I spoke with Zanis Buklovskis (Tournament Director) about this, and heard PDC Nordic & Baltic was looking for a new venue for this season, and then things started to go in the right direction. Hopefully we can make a great event for everybody so this won’t be the last year for us to organise this event,” Villu Tiitus tells.
“For Estonian darts overall this is really good, as it brings us more into the eyes of everybody else in our region and in Europe as well. Hopefully everything will keep moving up from here. I see this as another boost for Estonian darts.”
The weekend in Estonia will consist of the Nordic and Baltic Pro Tour 11 and 12. The dates for the weekend will be 26.-27. September.
