The two Pro Tour finals were settled between Madars Razma and Darius Labanauskas both times this weekend.
The Pro Tour 7 was won by Darius Labanauskas. The Lithuanian started the tournament by beating Jyri Ussa 6-3 in the first round. After this he won against the three Challenge Tour players Niels-Jørgen Hansen, Niels Heinsøe and Dennis Nilsson to reach the final.
In the final he was up against Madars Razma. The match got all the way to the deciding 11th leg, in which Darius Labanauskas secured the victory with a 109 checkout.
Madars Razma got his revenge at the Pro Tour 8. Once again he was up against Darius Labanauskas in the final, and this time he won by 6-3.
To reach the final, he won 6-2 against Niels-Jørgen Hansen in the first round. Then he won against Pauli Finillä and Niels Heinsøe, before he was up against Marko Kantele in the semi-final. The match was an absolute thriller, but eventually Madars Razma won by 6-5. And then he won the final.
With the two finals for both Darius Labanauskas and Madars Razma, it looks like the two of them will fight for the firstplace in the rankings, at the next PDCNB Pro Tour weekend in Latvia.
At Friday the qualification for the Youth World Darts Championship was being held. 12 players had registered and it all ended up with two qualifiers. Hampus Norrström and Axel Ljungquist will therefore participate at the tournament in November in England.
Daniel Larsson also managed to qualify for the first European Tour event in 2020, after he beat Roland Lenngren by 6-1 in the final of the qualification-event.
