The UK Open 2020 starts today at Butlin’s Minehead Resort. 160 players will compete throughout the weekend and four of them will be players from the PDC Nordic & Baltic region.
Who will win the UK Open 2020? Maybe the reigning champion Nathan Aspinall? Or the current world champion Peter Wright?
In theory, there is 160 different options, some with better chances than others. The event starts today, and in the first session we will see eight stages in use, with first, second and third round matches.
In the evening the fourth round will take off, and here we will see the top 32 players in action.
In the first couple of rounds we find Daniel Larsson, Marko Kantele, Madars Razma and Darius Labanauskas from the PDC Nordic & Baltic region.
Daniel Larsson will face Ryan Meikle in the first round. Marko Kantele will go up against Dirk van Duijvenbode in the second round, just as Madars Razma will face Derk Telnekes or Martijn Kleermaker in the second round.
Darius Labanauskas will be found in the third round. He will have to face the winner between Marko Kantele and Dirk van Duijvenbode.
Amongst others, we also see names such as Lisa Ashton and Fallon Sherrock in the afternoon session of the day.
Damon Heta, Luke Humphries, Kim Huybrecths and many more will also feature in the afternoon.
It will be possible to see matches from the Main Stage and Stage Two on pdc.tv throughout the entire weekend.
