Oskar Lukasiak secured himself the first Nordic and Baltic Pro Tour title at Saturday after a 6-5 victory against Andreas Harrysson in the final.
Andreas Harrysson looked like the winner of the final, as he got up by 4-1. Oskar Lukasiak however wanted it different and equalized the match, before both players took one leg each, meaning the match had to be decided in a 11th and final leg.
After Harrysson missed a dart at bullseye for the match, Oskar Lukasiak walked to the oche and checked out 52 with only two darts.
The new Tour Card holder started the tournament with something of a thriller against Valters Melderis, securing the victory with a 13-darter in the deciding leg.
Afterwards he stormed into the quarter-finals with two clear victories of 6-2 and 6-1 against Tommy Pilblad and Niels Heinsøe.
In the quarter-final the Swede once again had to go all the way, as he checked out 48 with three darts in the deciding leg against Paavo Myller.
Andreas Hyllgaardhus managed to put pressure on Oskar Lukasiak in the semi-final by going up 4-3 even though the Swede had gotten himself in front by 3-0. After the four won legs by the Dane, Oskar Lukasiak however won the next three and secured himself a victory of 6-4.
The final against Andreas Harrysson was won with an average of 89.32, with the equalizing eighth leg as the best with an average of 115.62 by Lukasiak.
Andreas Harrysson however had managed to reach the final without a single match going into a deciding leg, with his victory in the semi-final against Darius Labanauskas as his best game of the day.
Harrysson managed to average 96.65 in the match against the Lithuanian, which was the highest average of the day in the Nordic and Baltic Pro Tour 1.
