Oskar Lukasiak won one Pro Tour title in Latvia and is now aiming for even more titles this weekend in Sweden.
The second Nordic and Baltic Pro Tour weekend is ahead of us, as we will see two Pro Tour events and three European qualifiers from Friday through Sunday.
Among the participating players we find Tour Card holder Oskar Lukasiak, who secured himself a title in Latvia earlier this season and also managed to reach a semi-final.
“My form feels good. I haven’t got the results I wanted on the PDC Pro Tour, but I’m still learning,” Oskar Lukasiak tells pdc-nordic.tv.
With the results in Latvia, Oskar Lukasiak has pole position on the Nordic and Baltic rankings, as he is number one with 1500. However Oskar Lukasiak still wants to get more prize money and titles to secure a spot at Ally Pally in December.
“The season is long and a lot can still happen, but hopefully I can take further steps after last year. I want to take one of the top two spots for Ally Pally.”
“My goal is always to take titles, hopefully I can make it again this weekend.”
Oskar Lukasiak was the only participating Tour Card holder in Latvia, and even though Benjamin Reus and Viktor Tingström won’t be participating this time either, Cor Dekker will be a part of the field this weekend. But that does not change much for Oskar Lukasiak.
“My ambition is always to be on the top. I know it will be difficult, regardless which players from our region who are playing. It is still the best players from the Nordic and Baltic countries.”
Friday will have two European qualifiers, with the first one to start at 14.00 local time. As always it will be possible to follow the action on our Youtube or Dartconnect.
