As part of the PDC World Series 2022 we will once again get to enjoy the fantastic atmosphere of the Copenhagen crowd as The Nordic Darts Masters returns to The Forum in June 2022.
Last year we saw Michael van Gerwen crowned champion of the first ever Nordic Darts Masters, as he put an end to his title drought and the fantastic run of Fallon Sherrock in the Final.
Madars Razma was the best placed Nordic & Baltic player exiting at the Quarter Final Stage. A performance that earned him an invite the the World Series Finals later that year.
The 2022 edition of the tournament will take place on June 10 & June 11.
And as always with the World Series we will see eight Regional players take on the cream of the PDC.
PDC Tour Card holders Madars Razma of Latvia & Lithuanias Darius Labanauskas will return to The Forum, they will be joined by Denmarks new tour card holder Vladimir Andersen making his debut in Copenhagen.
The five remaining Regional Invites will be filled by two Danes, a Swede, one Finn and an Icelander.
The players will be selected primarily from the PDC European Tour Order of Merit, with the highest placed player from each country receiving an invite.
Should there be a tie between any players from the same country on the European Order of merit then their respective ranking on the PDC Nordic table will determine who receives the invite.
Should any of the countries lack a representative on the European table then the PDC Nordic & Baltic Order of Merit will be used to determine any remaining invites.
The full list of invites will be confirmed after conclusion of the PDC Nordic & Baltic Pro Tour event in Finland on June 5.
Only 2022 tournaments completed on or before June 5th 2022 count towards ranking totals.
A week after the conclusion of the Nordic Darts Masters we will see the start of the Cazoo World Cup of Darts in Frankfurt.
You can find the criteria for qualification on the PDC Nordic & Baltic website.
The annual cut-off date for World Cup of Darts selection is the 30th of April. This will not be extended, however, because of the disruption to last season caused by COVID, it has been decided to suspend the requirement of a minimum of 6 played events during the period 1 May 2021- 30 April 2022.
All players will be notified of selection once the PDC has published the list of countries that will be invited to compete in Frankfurt.
