There are only four players left at this year’s World Championship, which is approaching its end.
There are only two game days left at this year’s World Championship. Tonight we will see the semi-finals and on January 1st it will be time for the final.
The four players who have a place in the semi-finals are Michael van Gerwen, Nathan Aspinall, Peter Wright and Gerwyn Price.
Michael van Gerwen has been in the final four times, of which it has turned into three final victories. Peter Wright has been in the prestigious final once before, here he lost to the aforementioned Michael van Gerwen. Both Nathan Aspinall and Gerwyn Price have yet to find their way to the final at the World Championship, thus allowing for a potential pure debutant final.
The first semi-final of the night will be between Peter Wright and Gerwyn Price. The two of them met each other in the final at the Grand Slam of Darts. Gerwyn Price won that match.
The second semi-final is between Michael van Gerwen and Nathan Aspinall. The two of them have met each other four times earlier and here is has been two victories for each of them.
