Dennis Nilsson was by far the best player at the Challenge Tour today from the PDC Nordic & Baltic region.
The PDC Nordic & Baltic region was represented at the Challenge Tour today by Dennis Nilsson, Niels-Jørgen Hansen, Niels Heinsøe and Ivan Springborg.
The Swede did really well in the Challenge Tour 13, as he reached the quarter-final. In the quarter-final he met Rusty-Jake Rodriguez who played with a 100.2 average and won the match by 5-0.
The three Danes had some difficulties in their first round matches, and unfortunately none of them managed to win.
The tournament was won by Cameron Menzies. This was his third victory this year on the Challenge Tour.
In the Challenge Tour 14 Niels Heinsøe did a bit better, as he reached the second round. He won his first match by 5-2 against Paul Redfern with a fine average of 85. In the second round he lost 5-3 against Paul Williams.
Both Ivan Springborg and Niels-Jørgen Hansen lost their first round matches. Ivan Springborg, though, was not far from winning, as he only lost 5-4 and averaged a bit more than his opponent.
Dennis Nilsson continued his great perfomance from the Challenge Tour 13, as he reached the semi-finals. Throughot the five first matches he averaged 91.7, but in the semi-finals he could not keep that pace and unfortunately only averaged 80.4 and lost the match by 5-2 against Patrick Lynskey.
The results for Dennis Nilsson means he will advance from number 26 to number 19 on the Challenge Tour Order of Merit.
The Challenge Tour 14 was won by Patrick Lynskey.
