Marko Kantele was the best PDCNB-player at Saturday in Wigan.
Players Championship 7 was held today in Wigan, as Dave Chisnall won the tournament. Thus he has won two tournaments this year.
Just like in the first six Players Championships, Darius Labanauskas, Madars Razma and Marko Kantele represented the PDC Nordic & Baltic region.
Darius Labanauskas lost 6-5 in the first round against Harry Ward, even though he averaged a good 91,8 against the 89,5 from Harry Ward.
Madars Razma got through to the second round, as he won 6-5 in the first round against Barrie Bates. In the second round though, he lost by the same numbers against Jermaine Wattimena. But it is worth to mention, that Madars averaged abobe 90 in both matches.
Marko Kantele got the best result today, as he reached the third round. In the first round he averaged impressing 101, as he beat Adrian Gray by 6-1. In the second round he went a little down the averaging-ladder, as he averaged 92 against Ryan Meikle. The still good average was enough to win by impressing 6-2.
In the third round Ron Meulenkamp became to much and won by 6-4, even though Marko Kantele started good and was up by 2-0 and 3-2. But still a very good day for Marko Kantele.
The winner, Dave Chisnall, won 8-6 against Daryl Gurney in the final and averaged 101,22 throughout the entire tournament.
Tomorrow the Players Championship 8 will be held
