Madars Razma did well at Players Championship 7 and 8 this weekend.
It is no secret. The year of 2020 has not been good for Madars Razma on the PDC Pro Tour so far. But this weekend we saw glimpses of the Madars Razma we know.
Already at Friday we saw him qualify for two Euro Tour events.
At Players Championship 7 Madars Razma reached the round of 32, as he won 6-5 against Simon Whitlock in the first round, even though he was down by 5-2. In the second round he won 6-2 against Adam Huckvale, with a great average at 94.9.
Unfortunately Glen Durrant proved to strong in the third round. The former BDO World Champion win the match by 6-4.
Both Marko Kantele and Darius Labanauskas was beaten in the first round, as they lost against Adam Hunt and Keegan Brown respectively.
Daniel Larsson was not participating this weekend.
The event was won by Nathan Aspinall.
At Players Championship 8 Madars Razma was drawn against the selfsame Nathan Aspinall. However, Madars Razma won the match by 6-3.
In the second round he had to face Carl Hamilton and unfortunately lost 6-2.
Darius Labanauskas and Marko Kantele did not improve the results from Saturday and lost against Eddie Lovely and Graham Usher in the first round.
Ian White won the entire tournament after a victory of 8-3 against James Wade in the final.
