Marko Kantele will face William O’Connor in the first round of the World Darts Championship tonight.
Yesterday gave us even more surprises. The biggest surprise was the fact, that Michael Smith lost against Luke Woodhouse in the second round. And then there was Darius Labanauskas, who managed to beat Ian White by 3-1. Thus the Lithuanian is ready for the third round.
Mikuru Suzuki also made a great effort against James Richardson. However the Englishman became to strong and won the match by 3-2.
Today there is only four matches on the program, and one of the players is Marko Kantele.
However, Steve Lennon and Callan Rydz will go up against each other in the match just before. Then Marko Kantele will go on stage, as he will face William O’Connor.
After this Vincent van der Voort will go up against Keane Barry. The young Irishman will also be playing the Junior World Darts Championship final at 21. December at Ally Pally.
The last match of the evening is once again a match from the second round, as the former World Champion Gary Anderson takes on Brendan Dolan.
All the matches can be seen on pdc.tv from 20.00.
