It is the fifth day of the World Darts Championship and Fallon Sherrock will be on stage as the second woman this year.
Unfortunately, Marko Kantele could not put pressure on William O’Connor yesterday, even though the Irishman was unsatisfied with his own level. But the Irishman still won 3-0 and is through to the second round, in which he will go up against Gerwyn Price.
Callan Rydz also won his game against Steve Lennon and Vincent van der Voort proved to strong for the talent Keane Barry.
Gary Anderson won 3-0 in the second round against Brendan Dolan. ‘The Flying Scotsman’ impressed with a total of seven 180’s.
Today there is once again two sessions on the program. This means, that there will be darts already from 13.30.
In the first session we will see names such as Ryan Searle, Cristo Reyes and Rowby-John Rodriquez. The last match of the session is the second round fixture between Krzysztof Ratajski and Zoran Lerchbacher.
