It is time to find the winner of the Dutch Darts Championship 2018.
It is Sunday and as always on the European Tour, it means we must find a winner. It is already clear that it will not be home ground favorite Michael van Gerwen. World number one lost by 6-1 to William O’Connor yesterday.
And it is self-same William O’Connor who is in action as the first today. Here he meets English Ricky Evans.
Then the two young players Joe Cullen and Daryl Gurney will meet each other. Despite the fact that Gurney has enjoyed most success of the two, Joe Cullen is leading 6-3 after the nine times, the two have meet each outer.
After that, Ritchie Edhouse will play Ross Smith before the only remaining Dutchman will take the stage. It is Jeffrey de Graaf, who is heading for Australian Kyle Anderson.
Today’s first major showdown is between Peter Wright and Dave Chisnall. Peter Wright has to be named favorite for the title now, but Dave Chisnall proved last weekend that he can play really nice darts.
Today’s last three matches stands between Simon Whitlock and Darren Johnson, Adrian Lewis and Josh Payne and eventually Ian White against Mervyn King.
After the break, it’s time for quarterfinals, semifinals and the final.
As always, you can get an overview below and you can see all the matches from one o’clock on PDC.TV
