The Christmas days are over and so the darts are upon us once again from the Alexandre Palace in London.
It is December 27, and thus Christmas is officially over, which also means that the World Darts Championship is back on the program.
Today there will be four matches from the third round and then two matches from the fourth round tonight. However, the format does not change between the two rounds, which is why the matches still will be played best of seven sets in the fourth round.
The afternoon session contains of the first three matches from the third round and the action will be started by Simon Whitlock and Mervyn King. The match will be the 38th time they meet each other.
After this Daryl Gurney will take on Glen Durrant, before Fallon Sherrock once again takes the stage, as she will go up against Chris Dobey.
In the evening we will see the last match from the third round, as Gerwyn Price will go up against John Henderson.
After this we will see two matches from the fourth round, which contains Gary Anderson and Michael van Gerwen, who will respectively go up against Nathan Aspinall and Stephen Bunting.
