Today, the German Darts Championship will be decided and Dave Chisnall must have a lot of confidence.
It’s Sunday, so it’s time to find this year’s winner of the German Darts Championship.
However, we must first have a look at yesterday’s matches when Dave Chisnall made a new record on the Euro Tour. With an average of no less than 118.66, Chizzy won by 6-0 against Mark Webster.
Then we saw both Gerwyn Price and Stephen Bunting being eliminated before the favorites again lived up to their favorite worth.
However, we also saw Simon Whitlock and Ian White being thrown out yesterday, meaning that Michael Rasztovits and Terry Jenkins are in for the final day.
And Rastovits will start today. Here he meets Rob Cross, who yesterday beat Kyle Anderson by 6-5. Then Mensur Suljovic will play against Darren Webster before James Wilson and Robert Thornton play.
Michael Smith must try to beat Ron Meulenkamp, who, after an exciting match yesterday, was the man who beat Stephen Bunting.
Then there is a really exciting showdown in which Daryl Gurney meets Adrian Lewis, who continues to show he is heading back to the top of the rankings.
Joe Cullen will then try to beat Jan Dekker before Chizzy goes on the stage. The Englishman must go into the fight with a huge amount of confidence when he meets Terry Jenkins.
The last match of the third round is between Michael van Gerwen and Martin Schindler. Then the usual break will come, and in the evening the quarterfinals will be ready, with subsequent semi-finals and finals.
As always, the games can be seen on PDC.TV and you can also get an overview of the matches below.
