The Nordic and Baltic region was once again represented at the European Tour, as Daniel Larsson made it into the third round at Sunday.
It has become more and more usual to see Swedish victories at the European Tour, and this weekend Daniel Larsson once again showed why Swedish darts has been in the top of the Scandinavian countries over the last couple of years.
At Friday Larsson was up against Mario Vandenbogaerde in the first round and won the match by impressive 6-1.
At Saturday he had to go up against Nathan Aspinall, and even though the Englishman was a clear favorite, Daniel Larsson once again showed, that he can go up against the best players, and even with success, as he won the match by 6-4.
However, a man from Down Under, more precise Simon Whitlock, became to much at Sunday, as the Australian won the match against Daniel Larsson by 6-1.
We also saw Madars Razma at the tournament, however he lost already in the first round against Dave Chisnall.
The tournament was won by Michael Smith, who has shown a great form over the last couple of months.
