In the final he had to go up against Mindaugas Barauskas, who had also shown good figure throughout the tournament.
The two of them followed each other in the beginning of the match, but at the score 2-2 Cor Dekker went a gear up and not long after, he was ahead by 5-2. After that his level fell a little again, and Mindaugas Barauskas took advantage of that and secured himself the next two legs, bringing the score up to 5-4.
Cor Dekker then refound the good level and checked out the 10th leg in 13 darts.
