With on Nordic and Baltic Pro Tour event left, Andreas Harrysson can already call himself the winner of the rankings of 2025 in the PDC Nordic & Baltic.
After a victory in the final of the Nordic and Baltic Pro Tour 11 against number two on the rankings, Tour Card holder Oskar Lukasiak, Andreas Harrysson today secured himself the fourth Nordic and Baltic Pro Tour title of the season and also secured himself title of winner of the 2025 PDC Nordic & Baltic rankings, as Oskar Lukasiak cannot surpass him, no matter how the results of the Nordic and Baltic Pro Tour 12 turns out.
After only losing two legs in his first three matches of the day against Stein Håvard Helling, Steinar Berggreen and Edgar Znutins, Andreas Harrysson showed off his world class level in his quarter-final against Robert Wagner, who found himself back on the Nordic and Baltic Pro Tour after a handful of years away from the tour.
Andreas Harrysson won the quarter-final by 6-0, with both a 12-darter and 13-darter along the way. The Swede actually ended the match on an average of impressive 103.66, which is the third highest ever recored average in a single match on the Nordic and Baltic Pro Tour.
In the semi-final fellow Swede Johan Engström awaited, and what a close encounter it turned out to be, even though Harrysson got up by 4-0.
Johan Engström then suddenly turned up the engine and won no less than five legs in a row, giving him a 5-4 lead after nine legs. Andreas Harrysson however showed exactly what needs to be done after losing five legs in a row and equalized with a 16-darter before winning the match by only 11 darts.
In the final Andreas Harrysson quickly got up by 3-1, with Oskar Lukasiak securing his one leg with only 12 darts. However the Tour Card holder then won three legs in a row, giving him the lead by 4-3.
With 17, 14 and 15 darts Andreas Harrysson however won the next three legs, giving him the victory, the title and the title of seasonal winner of the PDC Nordic & Baltic rankings.
Just as Harrysson, Oskar Lukasiak managed to reach the quarter-final with only two lost legs in his first three matches against Nicolai Martinussen, Christian Manshed and August Eie-Stangeland.
In the quarter-final he was up against another Swede in Mattias Jönsson, and even though Jönsson got himself up by 5-4 after a close match, Oskar Lukasiak then managed to win the last two legs of the match, giving him a spot in the semi-finals.
In the semi-final another Tour Card holder was to be encountered, as Cor Dekker was the opponent. But even though the Norwegian Tour Card holder won the first leg, Oskar Lukasiak quickly got up by 3-1 and managed to win the match by 6-4.
In the evening we will see who will win the last European qualifier of the season, and thereby follow the Danes Andreas Hyllgaardhus and Andreas Toft Jørgensen out in Europe, as the two managed to win the two qualifiers at Friday.
Tomorrow the Nordic and Baltic Pro Tour season will end with the last and 12th event of the season, which will conclude who will take the second spot at the World Darts Championship and which 24 players who will secure themselves a spot at the inaugural Nordic & Baltic Darts Championship and the chance of winning the Jann Hoffmann Trophy.
