The favorites will step into the tournament today. Will there be surprises today?
It’s time for the second day of the European Darts Matchplay. The first day went by without any big surprises. Most favorites got through yesterday, except for Simon Whitlock and Max Hopp, who lost against Keegan Brown and William O’Connor respectively.
This means we have some really interesting things in sight today. In the afternoon we will see names as Dave Chisnall, Jonny Clayton, James Wade and Adrian Lewis, before Glen Durrant go up against Cody Harris.
Afterwards Dayl Gurney will take on John Henderson, and then Gerwyn Price will take on stage against Simon Stevenson.
Rob Cross will be the last man of the afternoon, when he meets Marvin Wehder who beat Dennis Nilsson yesterday.
In the evening have a big match between Michael van Gerwen and Michael Smith. Before that we will also see Ricky Evans, Ian White and Krzysztof Ratajski on stage.
Mensur Suljovic, who won the Austrian Darts Championship last weekend, will take on Kim Huybrechts, before Peter Wright go up against William O’Connor.
Nathan Aspinall will then go up against Wayne Jones, before Joe Cullen and Jamie Hughes will shut down the day with the last match of the evening.
