PDC Nordic & Baltic’s main goal is to raise the profile of the sport of Darts across the Scandinavian and Baltic territories. Over the years the region has produced players that have competed at the very highest level of the game and the aim is to further develop talent by giving players a platform to regularly participate in a competitive yet controlled environment.
The Danish Darts League (DDL), fronted by chairman Michael Frydendahl & veteran Danish player Jann Hoffman, collaborated with Pro Darts Finland (PDF), Pro Darts Sweden (PDS) and Unicorn Products to nurture a unique partnership with the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). From this partnership the Scandinavian Darts Corporation (SDC) was formed in 2012.
Starting 2017 the SDC’s territory expanded to cover the Baltic countries of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, at the same time changing its name to Professional Darts Corporation Nordic & Baltic (PDCNB).
During 2017 a further opportunity for PDCNB players was introduced. Through cooperation with PDC Europe came the introduction of a European Pro Tour (ET) qualification spot giving Nordic & Baltic players the chance to compete on stage throughout Europe and thus gain further valuable experience.
