Finland wins all on saturday

The level of darts being played at Park Inn this weekend is very high. A lot of players are throwing 11, 12 & 13 dart legs. In several matches all legs are finished within 18 darts.

Saturday held the first of the PDC Nordic & Baltic 2017 Pro Tour with 87 participants fighting for their share of the 5.000 € prize pool. The winner of the 2016 & 2015 season – Kim Viljanen –  started his season by being the winner of the Pro Tour 1.

Kim only lost a total of 12 legs the whole event by defeating 3 danes, 1 icelandic and 1 swede before reaching the final and won against Magnus ‘Pokerface’ Caris.

The second event on saturday held the qualifier for PDC European Tour 3 – German Darts Open – held in Saarbrucken, Germany on 21/4 – 23 /4 2017.

Finnish veteran Marko Kantele claimed the spot for ET 3. Marko had to overcome Kenneth Ljungars (6-2), Niels Heinsøe (6-4), Magnus Caris (6-5) and Ulf Ceder (6-4) before playing Dennis Nilsson (6-1) in the final.
