The first two European Tour qualifications was held on Friday at Hotel Park Inn, Copenhagen and was won by Veijo Viinikka (FIN) and Daniel Larson (SWE)

On his route towards victory Veijo played against Kristian Thålin (6-0), Robert Wagner (6-5), Roland Lenngren (6-3), Lennart Efraimsson (6-4). In the semi Veijo faced danish veteran Per Laursen (6-2) and in the final the finn had to face Magnus ‘Pokerface’ Caris in a match that went to a deciding leg.
Veijo continued his winning streak in the second tournament till he reached the semifinal where he was defeated in the final leg against Oskar Lukasiak.
Daniel Larson started his wins by playing against Hallgrimur Egilson (6-1), Johan Engström (6-3), Robert Wagner (6-1). In the semifinal he played against Marko Kantele (6-3) and finally he secured his qualification ticket by defeating Oskar Lukasiak (6-3) in the last match of the day.
